Been invited at 16th Asian Games in Guangzhou. He was sent there as representative of S.kor to sing the song for Sunshine Again.
On November 7, 2010 He was interviewed at CNN by Anna Coren due to his succsess in Korean Drama Playful Kiss which the 1st Drama on YT channel.

… after finishing his contract with DSP, KHJ joined KeyEast management owned by Bae Yong Jun. Lots of fans is missing his voice while he is singing with SS501. Knowing this, his new management brought him to the music industry but HJ prefer to be a solo this period of time. In regards with this he started with singing the soundtrack song, One More Time from drama Playful Kiss. Since its release on Sept 8, this song got into the TOP TEN on Korean music charts. The MV of this song was taken from his scenes on the drama. From this success, Kim Hyun Joong still the favorite celebrity and number one in Korea.
Saleable being a Brand Ambassador
Beside being busy in acting and singing, KHJ also take a role as main model for some commercial brands. Take a look on Basic House with Yoon Eun Hye. He looks so cute on all the scenes meet and match clothings collection, this make him become a trendsetter amoung the youth in Korea.
News said, that because of his appearance in that CF, his fee increased dramaticaly!. He bagged a 2 years contract with Face Shop with amount of 700 mill won or 7bill Rupiah!! WOW! with that amount, Kim Hyun Joong become the celebrity with the highest income in Korea, as new comer.
